Ahmedabad: The Gujarat government on Thursday announced a relief package of Rs 14,000 crore to revive the economy of the state affected by COVID-19, under which tax rebate will be given to consumers and loan subsidy to businessmen and shopkeepers. Under this package of the state government, an effort has been made to provide relief to a large section of people and businessmen of Gujarat. Gujarat is one of the major industrialized states of the country. COVID-19 cases in the state have exceeded 18,500.
