 Gas cylinder prices go up on New Year's Day, find out how much the price went up


Oil marketing companies (HPCL, BPCL, IOC) have increased the price of gas cylinders on the first day of the new year. The companies had twice raised the price of LPG by Rs 50 each in December. After this, the price of 14.2 kg cylinder was Rs 694. Today the price of 14.2 kg cylinder has not increased, but the price of commercial cylinder has increased by Rs 17.

The price of a commercial gas cylinder increased by Rs 91 last month. The price of 19 kg cylinder was Rs 1,280 per month in November. It was increased by Rs 91 to Rs 1,381.50 in December.


LPG cost in four metros is so high

In the national capital Delhi, the price of 19 kg LPG has increased by Rs 17. Rising prices have raised the price of 1,332 cylinders by Rs 17. The price of 19 kg cylinder has increased from Rs 1,387.50 in Kolkata to Rs 1,410. Here the price has increased by Rs 22.50. The price of domestic gas here is also 720.50 rupees. If we talk about Mumbai and Chennai then the price has gone up to Rs 1297.50 per cylinder and Rs 1463.50 per cylinder. The price has increased by Rs 17 in both the places.

Subsidy is also not available

The government has also cut subsidies for LPG cylinders as well. The government and its former gas cylinder recipients were subsidized but have been discontinued in recent times. Due to this people are facing double wounds.
