A 210 feet high lift will be built. For which the hill will also be dug.

According to the information received, due to the steep ascent of Gabbar Dungar in Pavagadh, many devotees had difficulty in seeing Mataji. Due to this, a lift has been planned by the Yatradham Development Board after the approval of the state government. An elevator will be built by digging the hill next to Gabbar. The official process of awarding the tendering process for excavation inside the mountain has been started. Due to the lift, the mother temple can be reached in just 40 seconds. An elevator will accommodate a maximum of 12 persons.




It is to be mentioned that along with the lift, helipad and walk-way facility will also be provided in Pavagadh. A project of Rs 130 crore has also been started for this. Phase 2 of construction of lift and construction of helipad, walkway have been completed and Phase 3 is in progress. 130 crore has also been allocated under Pavagadh Development Phase III. An elevator will be constructed by digging the mountain next to Pavagadh Gabbar up to 210 feet. The official process for awarding the tendering process for excavation inside the mountain has been started, after which excavation work inside the mountain for construction of lift will be started.
