Back pain is very common problem which affects on the person's work and personal life. There are various home remedies to help relieve the back pain. Lower back pain is widespread problem which causes more global detriment in other conditions. Almost 80% of adults have to handle with back pain at least once.   

People experience pain in other extent like middle and upper back. Back muscles and spine are the main support of the body weight. The muscle movements is done everyday by various actions like sitting, standing, and walking.

It is very challenging to get up when your back pain strikes. Though a short walk, yoga, water exercise or any low-shock activity which allays the back-pain. Exercise helps loosing tense muscles and releases endorphins which are natural pain-killers.

A person should start a daily exercise program which counter strength training and stretching which keeps muscle flexible and strong. Regular exercise prevents back pain in future. 

Various survey says that Ice packs are most profitable when you apply directly after the injury like strain. Ice wrapped in towel or napkin and applying on back reduces inflammation. 
Coldness provides a numerous effect on intense back pain. A person should use the cold packs which are designed for pain relief, a bag of ice or frozen vegetables enclosed in a cloth to protect the skin, apply not more than 20 minutes at one set.

One can also use a heating pad on the achy muscles but follow the instructions before using it and also test the temperature to ensure it is not very hot. If the heating pad is unavailable one can use hot water bottle, cloth bag uncooked rice in the microwave. Please ensure you not burn the skin with any of the activities.

The following stretching exercises helps in relieving back pain. One should hold the stretch for 30 seconds as you can bear.  

Touching the toes: In accrual to stretching the hamstrings and bending forward to touch your toes help lose the muscles in the lower back.

Cobra Pose: Lye on your stomach, with your hands facing down beside the shoulders, softly lift the chest up so your head faces the ceiling.

Cat-Cow Pose: Starting with your hands and knees, alternatively between your back toward the ceiling and dunk it towards the floor.

Child’s Pose: Sitting on the heels with your knees hip-width apart, spare forward and place your head on floor and stretch the hands in front of the head. 

The creams containing capsaicin which is a compound found in hot peppers, which helps in relieving pain. This cream is very helpful in  treating osteoarthritis pain. Pain-relief creams that contain menthol have a cooling effect which temporarily dulls the pain. Applying menthol to the skin can numb the receptors in the body. Using too much menthol may be very sensitive to the pain.
