First Navratri after renovation of Pavagadh temple, glory of bathing in Dudhia lake, more than 1 lakh devotees turn up


Enthusiasm is being seen among sportspersons in Pavgarh regarding Mahaparva Navratri. Further, the devotees kept the tradition intact by bathing in the Dudhia lake.


Asho Navratri, the great festival of devotion and worship of Shakti, is starting from tomorrow. Then Mai devotees will gather in large numbers at Shaktipeeth Pavagarh, a pilgrimage site in Panchmahal district, the center of faith of millions of devotees. The first Navratri is being celebrated after Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the flag on the top of the temple after centuries and renovated the temple. In view of which, special arrangements have been made by the administration, temple trust and Usha Braco providing ropeway services. 


Devotees Bathed in Pavagadh Dudhia Lake It is a tradition to take the flame from the temple after bathing in

Pavagadh Dudhia Lake on the eve of Navratri festival i.e. Amas day . Devotees flocked for darshan today. On the other hand, the trekkers and the pilgrim group arrived at Pavagadh late in the evening and will spend the night there to have darshan of Norte Mataji first thing in the morning.


This will be the first such Navratri for the devotees of Mahakali at 

Shaktipeeth Pavagarh after Corona period, when they will be able to have darshan of Mataji with all facilities and relaxation. After the renovation of Emanya Pavagadh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the flag and inaugurated all the facilities of Pavagadh, a large number of devotees have been coming here for Darshan. In view of which, special arrangements have been made by the temple trust and administration. Drinking water for the pilgrims, darshan arrangements according to slots, early opening of the temple during Navratri, cleaning operations were organized by the temple trust.

A tight police presence has been arranged to protect the temple and the pilgrims due to the unprecedented influx  of devotees. The police have planned to deploy more than one thousand policemen and a squad of SRP, including officers like DySP, PI, PSI, in Bandobast.
