NMMS Scholarship Yojana 2022 | NMMS Scholarship Scheme 2022: Many schemes are implemented by the Gujarat government for all the people of the state. In which a lot of assistance is given to increase the level of education in the state and more and more people are educated. Among them Gujarat NMMS 2021 – 2022 for Class There is a scheme for 8. In which the students studying in class 8 will be given scholarship.
This scholarship has been announced by the State Examination Board Gandhinagar in the state. This examination will be determined as National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Examination. The students who will pass this scholarship will be eligible for this scholarship. So let's know all the information about this scholarship in detail.
What is NMMS Scholarship Yojana?
This is a scholarship scheme for the brilliant students of weaker sections who have a very poor economic situation in the state of Gujarat. So that such students can study up to class 12 and reduce the drop out ratio, the students studying in class 8 are given National Means Come Merit Scholarship ( The scheme named NMMS) is implemented by MHRD, New Delhi.
In this scheme, students who are studying in class 8 can apply. They are eligible to get this scholarship till they study up to class 12. In which they get a total scholarship of Rs 48,000. This scholarship is available to students directly from the Human Resources of New Delhi. And the money received by the Ministry of Development (MHRD) is directly credited to the bank account of the beneficiary student.

NMMS Scholarship Yojana – Benefits
This scholarship is implemented from MHRD in which all the process of this scholarship will be done by the state examination board of the state. In which all the process from application to payment will be done by the State Examination Board Gandhinagar.
The students who are studying in class 8 in this scholarship will have to apply for this aid online. The students who pass will get Rs 1,000/- per month which means they will get Rs 12,000/- per year. Which will be available till they study up to 12th standard i.e. a total of Rs 48,000/- is available to the beneficiary student for 4 years.
NMMS Scholarship Yojana – Eligibility/Eligibility
For the students who can appear for this scholarship examination by MHRD New Delhi, they will be considered eligible as follows, i.e. only qualified students will be able to appear for the examination.
- The student should be a native of Gujarat state.
- Student should be studying in 8th standard.
- This scholarship is available to the students who are studying in Class 8, i.e. Government Primary Schools, Local Body Schools, Zilla Panchayat Schools, Municipal Schools, Municipal Schools and Granted Primary Schools in Class 8.
- As per the resolution dated 22/12/2021 by the Human Resource and Development Department of the Government of India, in the case of the students who have been passed from the 8th standard promotion due to the Corona epidemic, the minimum marks of that student have been taken into consideration. Without it they will be able to appear for Gujarat NMMS Exam Scholarship.
- The students of state private schools-granted schools, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jawahar Navodaya School and those schools which provide free accommodation, food and study facilities will not be able to participate in this scholarship.
NMMS Scholarship Yojana Rules
- After the examination of this scholarship, the meritorious students will be eligible to receive Rs.1,000/- per month for 12 months in the form of Rs. In which the eligible students will be able to get this amount for four years.
- Payment of scholarship amount to the eligible students as per the guidelines of MHRD by fresh and renewal application on National Scholarship Portal and after the application is verified on National Scholarship Portal by the Nodal Officer of concerned school and concerned district by Human Resource and Development Department of Central Government MHRD New Delhi This assistance money will be deposited directly through the student's bank DBT.
- Only the examination of this scholarship is organized by State Examination Board Gandhinagar. The State Examination Board will not be responsible for any other related to this scholarship.
NMMS Scholarship Yojana – Evidence of Aadhaar
For this scheme, the students have to present the necessary supporting evidence. All the documents have to be uploaded while applying online. Below is the supporting evidence that you have to submit.
- Beneficiary Student Fee Payment Challan in Online Application (Only for SEB)
- Copy of Online Application form filled by students
- Attested copy of the annual income statement of the beneficiary student's family.
- Mark sheet of the student of class 7 or its equivalent.
- Copy of Student's Gender Certificate (if applicable)
- Disability Certificate if the student is disabled (if applicable)
NMMS Scholarship Yojana – Income Limit
The examination of this scheme is to be conducted in the next few days in the state. For which the online application has already started. In which the student has to submit all the necessary documents to complete the support. Further, the student's parent should apply for this NMMS scholarship. The annual income limit should not exceed 1,50,000/- in which the student has to attach a certified copy of their parent's annual income statement along with the printout of the application.
NMMS Scholarship Yojana – Examination Fee
Students will have to apply online to take the examination of this scholarship, in which they will have to pay the examination fee, which is as follows.
- The exam fee for General Catagory and OBC Category students will be Rs 70/-.
- The examination fee for SC-ST and disabled students will be Rs.50/-.
- Service charge has to be paid separately.
- This examination fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
NMMS Scholarship Yojana Gujarat Exam Fee Centre
After applying for this exam, the exam fee has to be paid online which can also be paid through ATM Card/Net Banking through Online Payment Gateway. To deposit the fee online, the student has to click on Print Application/Challan. Then go to Online Payment. After that, you can go to the given option and pay the fee online.
After paying the online fee, if the student receives the online e-receipt, they can contact the state examination board or mail and get the information.
NMMS Scholarship Yojana Syllabus
- The 90 questions of the MAT Mental Aptitude Test are based on verbal and non-verbal reasoning. The questions will include Analogy, Classification, Numerical Series, Pattern Perception, Hidden Figure, etc. .
- The 90 questions of the SAT Academic Aptitude Test covers math, science and social science subjects of class-7 and class-8.
- Last year's syllabus will be for class-7.
- The current year's first semester syllabus for class-8 has been kept.
NMMS Scholarship Yojana Qualifying Marks
General category and OBC category students have to obtain 40% marks in aggregate in both sections and SC-ST category students have to obtain 32% marks in aggregate in both sections.
Among the students who have secured the qualifying marks, only the students who fall in the merit as per the district-wise-category-wise quota will be considered eligible for the scholarship.
NMMS Scholarship Yojana Exam Structure
- The medium of this exam will be in both English and Gujarati language. The student will have to give the exam in the language that he chooses.
- This exam will be (MCQ) i.e. multiple choice exam.
- There will be no negative marks of any kind in this exam i.e. there is no negative marking in the exam.
- In this examination, blind students will be given 30 minutes more time in addition to the examination time.
