Google's new feature: Parents can see where their son or daughter goes, alerts will come if they leave college or school.

Google has rolled out new updates to Family Link, giving people more options to keep family or friends safe online from the comfort of their own home. 

All these new updates of Google have been rolled out and its new features will also be offered to everyone in the coming few weeks.

 


Indeed after location Google has introduced a new update, which is very useful for parents. 

Through this, parents can see the location of all their children's devices simultaneously on a single map and can also track them for security purposes.

Google has given information about the new feature of Family Link through a blog post. 

In this update, parents will be able to see the location of all their children's mobiles in one map, as well as enable alert notifications when their child is traveling to school or any other destination. 

In other words, it can be said that when your child reaches or leaves the school or any destination, you will get the notification of your child's arrival and departure.

This feature will be available in Location tab and Highlights tab.


You'll find this feature in the Locations tab as well as the Highlights tab in the new updates, which allows parents to track their child's device usage by showing a snapshot of their child's app usage, device screen time, and recently downloaded apps.


Family Link is also available on the web


The company has said that Family Link will also be available on the web for parents and children to trace their location. 

This will mean that parents can access the online facility even when they don't have a phone or parents don't have the app. 

According to Google, the company is also linking to trusted sources such as Common Sense Media, Connect Safely and the Family Online Safety Institute. This allows parents to discuss online safety at home.
